Ces images hors de propos, mais ayant sans doute un lien avec l&#8217;\u00e9cologie et l&#8217;extraction des m\u00e9taux lourds &#8220;polluent&#8221; la vue et r\u00e9tr\u00e9cissent le champ visuel de la sc\u00e8ne. Et pourtant&#8230;Y-a-t-il \u0153uvre plus christique que\u00a0<i>Parsifal<\/i>\u00a0? Richard Wagner n&#8217;est jamais autant inspir\u00e9 dans ses phrases musicales que lorsqu&#8217;il \u00e9voque la spiritualit\u00e9, le sacr\u00e9,\u00a0<i>Lohengrin\u00a0<\/i>ou<i>\u00a0Parsifal\u00a0<\/i>son dernier ouvrage. Si la r\u00e9gie confi\u00e9e \u00e0\u00a0<b>Jay Scheib\u00a0<\/b>suit l&#8217;\u0153uvre de Wagner sans rien y changer, l&#8217;on n&#8217;y trouve rien de spectaculaire ni rien de tr\u00e8s beau. Les d\u00e9cors sommaires de\u00a0<b>Mimi Lien<\/b>\u00a0nous transportent d&#8217;une sc\u00e8ne compl\u00e8tement vide, si ce n&#8217;est un immense poteau, dans les jardins de\u00a0<i>Klingsor\u00a0<\/i>o\u00f9 \u00e9voluent\u00a0<i>les Filles Fleurs<\/i>\u00a0dans un cadre na\u00eff dont la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation fluorescente semble sortie d&#8217;une peinture du Douanier Rousseau. Le dernier acte pr\u00e9sente une terre d\u00e9sol\u00e9e et enneig\u00e9e aux couleurs blafardes qui se colore peu \u00e0 peu le printemps revenu, apr\u00e8s la gu\u00e9rison d&#8217;<i>Amfortas.\u00a0<\/i>Mais que fait cette horrible machine rouill\u00e9e encombrant un c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la sc\u00e8ne et dominant la pi\u00e8ce d&#8217;eau verd\u00e2tre o\u00f9 va se baigner\u00a0<i>Amfortas,<\/i>\u00a0sert-elle \u00e0 l&#8217;extraction de m\u00e9taux ? Les\u00a0<i>Chevaliers du Graal<\/i>\u00a0v\u00eatus de longues tuniques blanches et jaunes au d\u00e9but, les changeront contre des tenues style camouflage d&#8217;un vert fluorescent au dernier acte. Tr\u00e8s inesth\u00e9tiques aussi, les\u00a0<i>Filles Fleurs<\/i>\u00a0dans leurs toilettes suggestives roses, les seins d\u00e9nud\u00e9s. Pas plus compr\u00e9hensible non plus la jupe jaune et les bottes noires de\u00a0<i>Kundry<\/i>, ni le surv\u00eatement rouge d&#8217;un\u00a0<i>Parsifal\u00a0<\/i>revenu d&#8217;un long voyage. Et alors\u00a0<i>Klingsor<\/i>\u00a0portant un casque \u00e0 cornes, son costume rose est-il une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 son \u00e9masculation ? Des clich\u00e9s enfantins, mais jamais tr\u00e8s beaux. Joli effet tout de m\u00eame au deuxi\u00e8me acte o\u00f9\u00a0<i>Kundry\u00a0<\/i>dans une pi\u00e8ce toute noire semble assujettie \u00e0 l&#8217;apparition de\u00a0<i>Klingsor,\u00a0<\/i>figure hi\u00e9ratique, tout de rose v\u00eatu se d\u00e9tachant des murs sombres dans une forme g\u00e9om\u00e9trique, rose aussi, dont le dessin \u00e9voque celui du Graal, selon Jay Scheib, Graal de cristal que\u00a0<i>Parsifal\u00a0<\/i>brisera. Seule image vraiment jolie dans tout ce\u00a0<i>Parsifal.\u00a0<\/i>Entre les objets qui volent et une mise en sc\u00e8ne d&#8217;une grande platitude, l&#8217;on a du mal \u00e0 se laisser transcender par la musique.\u00a0<b>Pablo Heras Casado<\/b>\u00a0est-il responsable ? Certes non. Pour sa premi\u00e8re direction au Festspielhaus, le chef d&#8217;orchestre espagnol fait de son mieux mais n&#8217;est pas port\u00e9 par le visuel. Il trouve pourtant les sonorit\u00e9s qui font r\u00e9sonner les th\u00e8mes sans les forcer dans une souplesse bien venue. D\u00e8s le pr\u00e9lude de l&#8217;acte I, avec des sons qui viennent de loin, le\u00a0<i>tempo<\/i>\u00a0lent permet de poser les sons sans pr\u00e9cipitation, de les faire attendre et de laisser sonner les fins de phrases. Le timbre de sa voix est rond, homog\u00e8ne dans un r\u00e9cit expressif.\u00a0<b>Andreas Schager<\/b>\u00a0apr\u00e8s avoir interpr\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0<i>Siegfried\u00a0<\/i>est maintenant\u00a0<i>Parsifal.<\/i>\u00a0Venu remplacer Joseph Calleja, il prend le r\u00f4le \u00e0 bras le corps dans une voix sensible qui s&#8217;affermit au cours de son r\u00e9cit. Peu servie par la mise en sc\u00e8ne, la soprano russe impose son personnage. Sur les sonorit\u00e9s des cors,\u00a0<b>Jordan Shanahan<\/b>\u00a0projette avec force sa voix de basse color\u00e9e aux aigus puissants pour un\u00a0<i>Klingsor<\/i>\u00a0mal\u00e9fique.
