Direttore e flauto, <strong>Muriel Rochat Rienth<\/strong>. <\/em><strong>1 cd Enchiriadis, 2008<\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em>Nato a Berlino nel 1667 e morto a Londra,\u00a0 dove si era trasferito a partire dall&#8217;anno 1700, Pepusch \u00e8 noto soprattutto per aver creato insieme al librettista John Gay, <em>The Beggar&#8217;s Opera <\/em>(L&#8217;opera dei mendicanti9, rappresentata al Lincoln&#8217;s Inn Field di Londra il 29 gennaio 1728. Un lavoro fortemente satirico, per il quale Pepusch ha compiuto un lavoro di adattamento di celebri melodie popolari dell&#8217;epoca.\u00a0\u00a0 Pepusch era per\u00f2 un compositore\u00a0 dotato di\u00a0 un proprio stile e inventiva musicale, e lo dimostra questo disco che ci <strong>presenta delle belle\u00a0 e raffinate composizione da camera, in particolare 4 cantate per tenore, in lingua inglese, composte tra il 1710 e il 1720 e ben cantate da F\u00e9lix Rienth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tenor Cantatas &amp; Recorder Sonatas &#8211; F\u00e9lix Rienth, tenore.
