{"id":2121,"date":"2009-06-13T21:28:35","date_gmt":"2009-06-13T19:28:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gbopera.it\/?p=2121"},"modified":"2014-06-30T12:06:43","modified_gmt":"2014-06-30T10:06:43","slug":"i-gioielli-di-mariaquarta-parte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.studioroldo.it\/gbopera\/i-gioielli-di-mariaquarta-parte\/","title":{"rendered":"I gioielli di Maria&#8230;.(quarta parte)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In questa puntata vi parlo di gioielli che hanno accompagnato Maria Callas in occasioni particolari nel corso della sua vita. <strong>Questi sono preziosi che non furono<\/strong> <strong>acquistati dalla coppia Meneghini-Callas<\/strong>, ma prestati dalle pi\u00f9 prestigiose gioiellerie in occasioni ufficiali di particolare risonanza.<br \/>\nUn esempio sono i <strong>meravigliosi monili messi a disposizione dalla<\/strong> <strong>Harry Winston<\/strong> che la <strong>Callas sfoggi\u00f2 nel corso del celeberrimo Imperial Ball<\/strong> che si tenne ai primi del 1957 al Waldorf Astoria Hotel di New York.<br \/>\nCon tanto di gendarme dietro le quinte a controllare la Divina e le sorti della magnifica collana fu la <strong>Van Cliff and Arpel<\/strong>s che ottenne il prestigio di poter sfoggiare proprie creazioni al collo della <strong>Callas nel dicembre del 1958 all&#8217;Op\u00e9ra Garnier di Parigi.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Nel maggio del 1962 a festeggiare il compleanno del presidente Kennedy,<\/strong> insieme a Marilyn Monroe e altri, la Callas cant\u00f2 brani dalla Carmen di Bizet. L&#8217;abito a grandi papaveri rossi della Biki fu abbellito da una <strong>parure di brillanti di enorme valore<\/strong>.Molte furono anche le occasioni mondane, una festa o una prima teatrale per la quale Maria ebbe ad indossare creazioni orafe avute in prestito. Ironia della sorte volle che gli orecchini che indoss\u00f2 per assistere all&#8217; <em>Adriana Lecouvreur <\/em>di Cilea con Renata Tebaldi al Metropolitan di New York fossero poi comprati anni dopo
