Ha conseguito nel 1980 il diploma di fagotto al Conservatorio &#8220;Giuseppe Verdi&#8221; di Milano sotto la guida di Evandro dall&#8217;Oca; si \u00e8 perfezionato successivamente con Rudolf Klepac al \u201cMozarteum\u201d di Salisburgo e con Milan Turkovic a Vienna. Di quest\u2019ultimo \u00e8 stato anche assistente in masterclass. Vanta un&#8217;ampia attivit\u00e0 concertistica e istituzionale.
