Aveva 92 anni. Nato il 14 agosto 1924 a Waiziers, il direttore d\u2019orchestra ha continuato a dirigere quasi fino all\u2019ultimo.\u00a0 Diplomatosi in tromba a Parigi nel 1949, ha studiato direzione d&#8217;orchestra con Andr\u00e9 Cluytens e, dopo alcuni anni di attivit\u00e0 come maestro sostituto, ha esordito nel 1947 a Marsiglia dirigendo <em>Le roi d&#8217;Ys<\/em> di Lalo. Dal 1955 al 1959 \u00e8 stato direttore stabile dell&#8217;Op\u00e9ra Comique, cominciando nel frattempo ad apparire nei maggiori teatri europei ed internazionali. \u00c8 stato uno dei maggiori direttori d&#8217;orchestra della sua generazione, finissimo interprete di tutta la musica francese dell&#8217;Ottocento e del Novecenteo, sensibile alla musica contemporanea e nello stesso tempo &#8220;classico&#8221; interprete del tradizionale repertorio italiano, tedesco e russo.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/300935985&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;visual=true\" width=\"100%\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"no\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>4 gennaio 2017 \u00c8 morto nella sua casa del sud della Francia Georges Pretre.
