Esord\u00ec ad Aquisgrana \u00a0nel 1961 come Ludovico nell&#8217;<em>Otello<\/em> verdiano e rimase in quel teatro fino al 1963. Attivo in altri teatri tedeschi (Magonza, Wuppertal, Amburgo), nel 1972 \u00a0si \u00e8 frequentemente esibito a Monaco, Vienna, Salisburgo, Bayreuth, Parigi, avviandosi cos\u00ec a una brillante e lunga carriera internazionale. I ruoli emblematici del suo repertorio si collocano nella drammaturgia \u00a0wagneriana in particolare Re Marke (<em>Tristan und Isolde<\/em>) e Pogner (<em>Maestri Cantori<\/em>). La sua vocalit\u00e0 corposa e duttile ha permesso a Moll di distinguersi anche nel teatro mozartiano.
