Vincitrice nel 1964 del Concorso &#8220;Auditions of the Air&#8221; del Metropolitan che le ha consentito, nella stagione 1965-66, di cantare <em>Carmen<\/em> in tourn\u00e9e attraverso il nord America con la compagnia del Met.
