Nel 1951 la sua interpretazione di Magda Sorel nella prima del &#8220;Console&#8221; di Menotti a Basilea le valse scritture a Monaco (&#8220;Salome&#8221;, &#8220;Fliegende hollander&#8221;) e Berlino (&#8220;Tosca&#8221;, &#8220;Mona Lisa&#8221;, &#8220;Elektra&#8221;). Nel 1952 debutta a Bayreuth (Freia e Sieglinde).
