strana coppia \u201cPoulenc e Mascagni\u201d, ovverosia il pi\u00f9 tradizionale dei compositori italiani di inizio Novecento accostato al morigerato sperimentatore francese di settant\u2019anni or sono, sorprendentemente funziona: prima lo straniante allucinato monologo francese de \u201cLa voix humaine\u201d, poi l\u2019altrettanto allucinato, ma grondante passione, atto unico verghiano (\u201cCavalleria Rusticana\u201d), si incastrano bene, impattando sullo spettatore e poi amorevolmente scavando nelle sue ferite. Buona dunque la scelta fatta dal Sociale di Como, che su questo dittico punta molto, sia in termini creativi, sia musicali: la regia infatti \u00e8 affidata alla pi\u00f9 celebrata (e contestata) regista teatrale dei nostri giorni, la sicilianissima <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Emma Dante<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, mentre il ruolo pi\u00f9 impegnativo, la <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>femme d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> de \u201cLa voix humaine\u201d, \u00e8 assegnato ad una delle migliori soprano italiane, <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Anna Caterina Antonacci<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, navigatissima interprete del ruolo. Partiamo subito da lei, diva conclamata ed acclamata della <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>soir\u00e9e<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">: certamente non delude, anzi esalta gli animi del pubblico un fraseggio tanto curato,\u00a0 del tutto al servizio dell\u2019espressivit\u00e0, dell\u2019interpretazione. Le ben note qualit\u00e0 timbriche la naturale nobilit\u00e0 della linea di canto si uniscono alla gigantesca personalit\u00e0 che l\u2019interprete sprigiona \u2013 personalit\u00e0, peraltro, ottimamente contenuta dall\u2019allestimento borghese e minimale, dai riferimenti cinematografici <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>m\u00e9lo<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>\u00e0 la<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> Douglas Sirk (per non dire in stile \u201ctelefoni bianchi\u201d). Ci trae in inganno, probabilmente, l\u2019ambientazione quasi asettica, che per\u00f2 viene del tutto infiammata dalla magnificenza della musica di Poulenc e dal gi\u00e0 citato carattere della Antonacci. Riconosciamo invece un\u2019Emma Dante pi\u00f9 tipica nella Sicilia <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>r\u00e9tro<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> di \u201cCavalleria rusticana\u201c: grazie al solito larghissimo ricorso a bravi figuranti e danzatori (che danno ottima prova di s\u00e9, per merito anche della direzione di <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Manuela Lo Sicco<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">), incontriamo <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>viae crucis<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, Marie della vita, citazioni artistico-cinematografiche a <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>go-go<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> (da Pontormo a Pietro Germi). Siamo in pieno neorealismo, in atmosfera di <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><i>fuitine<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, codici d\u2019onore, religioni basate su ataviche colpe. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Teresa Romano<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, nella parte di Santuzza, regala un\u2019interpretazione complessivamente valida, accurata sul piano meramente vocale, forse un po&#8217; impersonale nel fraseggio; <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Angelo Villari<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> \u00e8 un Turiddu disinvolto e vibrante. La voce brillante e intensa \u00e8 quanto mai adatta al repertorio verista. Convincenti anche le interpretazioni della ventiquattrenne mezzosoprano napoletana <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Francesca di Sauro<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> (una Lola fresca e dal fraseggio giustamente maliardo) e di <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Giovanna Lanza<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, che, nella parte di mamma Lucia, diventa la vera protagonista della messa in scena: grazie al suo\u00a0 bel timbro vocale, conferisce autorevolezza e maternit\u00e0 a una parte tanto dolente. Lodi senza se e senza ma anche per il Coro (diretto dal maestro <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Diego Maccagnola<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">), che strappa brividi nella scena della preghiera. La concertazione del Maestro <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Francesco Cilluffo<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Adobe Garamond, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> si \u00e8 espressa al suo meglio senza dubbio nella seconda opera (fusione scena-buca praticamente perfetta e grande risalto alle sfumature della partitura, dando particolare rilevanza a quelle pi\u00f9 struggenti, come il celebre intermezzo sinfonico, che Francis Ford Coppola ha fatto conoscere al grande pubblico nel \u201cPadrino \u2013 Parte III\u201d), mentre nel dirigere Poulenc ci \u00e8 sembrato un po\u2019 meno controllata.
