Nonostante la presenza della &#8220;Grande Furia&#8221;, ebbi tempo e modo di notarla. Poi la Tucci, un po&#8217; alla volta, con la sua bellissima voce di lirico puro, con la sua elegante musicalit\u00e0, con la delicatezza delle sue note filate e la argentinit\u00e0 di quelle acute, si appropri\u00f2 di\u00a0 tanto repertorio di Verdi, di Puccini, di Rossini, di Bellini. Poteva farlo, ma, personalmente, prima di pensare proprio alla <em>Forza del destino<\/em>, all&#8217;Aida o alla Tosca, avrei atteso qualche anno di pi\u00f9. Ma forse la Scala e soprattutto il Metropolitan la richiesero in ogni parte ( dai Puritani, al Trovatore, alla Manon, tanto per citare) in cui avessero\u00a0 bisogno. E al Metropolitan non si dice di no. Cos\u00ec la sua bella voce cominci\u00f2 a usurarsi forse prima del previsto, nonostante l&#8217;impostazione e un&#8217;emissione sufficientemente esatte e morbide. Ma le sue Li\u00f9, le sue Butterfly, cos\u00ec gentili, cos\u00ec indifese, resistettero ancora. E adesso non sar\u00f2 certo il solo a ricordarla con rimpianto.
